Romina has spent 6+ years managing influencer campaigns for brands you've actually heard of.
She's led influencer marketing teams at agencies like Burson (one of the world's largest PR firms), where she ran regional campaigns for major brands across beauty, tech, consumer goods, and automotive, working with brands like Ford, Warner Bros, Epson, Kimberly Clark, and more. She's negotiated with influencers. She's built shortlists. She's presented to clients.
And she's been the one who had to explain when something slipped through.
After vetting thousands of influencers manually—scrolling through feeds, watching videos on mute, squinting at product placements in the background—she knew there had to be a better way.

Co-founder — The technical side
David builds software for a living. For the past 6+ years, he's worked as a freelance engineer for companies ranging from enterprise software firms to early-stage startups.
He's built other products from scratch, led engineering teams, and shipped software used by thousands of people. Mobile apps, web platforms, cloud infrastructure. The full stack.
When Romina explained the influencer vetting problem, David saw a technical challenge worth solving: How do you analyze months of video, audio, images, and text in seconds? How do you catch what human eyes miss?
He built BrandCheck to answer those questions.
10+ years building web and mobile applications. And now, AI that actually watches those Reels and TikToks so you don't have to.
Engineering
David has spent his career making sure software teams actually deliver. He's an expert consultant and manager in software process improvement, acquisition of products and services, and software development and maintenance across both private and public sectors.
He holds IBM's AI Foundations for Everyone specialization and the IBM AI Developer Professional Certificate. He's also a CMM instructor and CMMI Appraisal Team leader—the kind of person organizations bring in when they need to get serious about how they build software.
His work spans CMMI, Scrum, and Kanban implementations and appraisals across Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He's done it in multinational corporations and SMEs alike, across a wide range of industries.
On top of all that, he's a former university professor, teaching post-graduate and professional programs in quality, process management, and software engineering at universities in Peru, Brazil, and Colombia.
We've seen both sides of this problem.
Romina spent years scrolling through influencer feeds, catching conflicts through sheer persistence. David spent years building software that automates tedious processes. David Sr. has spent his career making sure software teams actually deliver.
